Vittorio Calabrese is a cultural strategist and arts management consultant, with extensive experience in museum institutions, nonprofits, philanthropy, and research initiatives. From 2015 to 2024, he served as the Founding Executive Director of Magazzino Italian Art, a private museum in Cold Spring, NY, devoted to Post-war and Contemporary Italian Art. Working there since its establishment, Calabrese spearheaded the institution’s artistic and editorial direction, building a team of up to 35 people. Calabrese holds an MBA from Columbia Business School, a MA in History of Art and Art Market from Christie’s Education, New York, and a BA and MA in Management of Government and International Institutions from Milan’s Bocconi University.
Susan de Menil is the Co-President and Co-Founder of the Art, Antiquities & Blockchain Consortium (New York), which works at the intersection of cultural property and blockchain technology to address the challenges of authentication, ownership and preservation of cultural heritage. Cultural property has faced and faces significant
threats due to looting, illicit trade and environmental degradation. Blockchain provides transparency, traceability and security through the creation of new ownership paradigms for cultural artifacts by utilizing blockchain-based infrastructure. Susan de Menil has curated many exhibitions, including Angels & Franciscans: Innovative Architecture from Los Angeles and San Francisco (awarded Best Architecture show by the International Association of Art Critics).
