Enza Antenos (Montclair State University), for the project Reimagining Made in Italy: Sicily’s Transcultural Economic Identity.

Enza Antenos is Founding Director of the BA in Language, Business & Culture and Associate Professor of Italian at Montclair State University. Her research spans Italian language acquisition, digital pedagogy, business communication, and curriculum innovation. Her work has appeared in Foreign Language Annals, Italica, Calico Monograph Series, and the Journal of Language Teaching and Research, and she has contributed to volumes on digital humanities and online collaboration in language learning.
As a faculty team member of the Career Hub for International Language Learning (CHILL), which was awarded a Modern Language Association’s inaugural Pathways Step grant funded by the Mellon Foundation, she helped develop cocurricular career resources connecting language study to professional pathways. Through Business Italian Style initiatives, she guided student projects with Italian companies, including illycaffè, Eataly, Buccellati, and Poltrona Frau, producing video articles published in La Voce di New York.
She co-founded the signature professional development program, Teaching Italian: A Symposium/Workshops for Instructional Materials, and continues to chair it in its nineteenth year.
