Sara Díaz is an Associate Professor of Modern Languages and Literatures at Fairfield University. Her scholarship centers on comedy, gender, and authorship in the works of the Tre corone, as well as in the volumes produced by the seventeenth-century virtuosa, Margherita Costa. She co-edited and translated Costa’s 1641 The Buffoons with Jessica Goethals for “The Other Voice in Early Modern Europe Series” (2018) and is finishing a critical edition and translation of Costa’s 1639 Love Letters for the same press. She currently serves as Counselor to the Dante Society of America (2023-2026), Chair of the DSA Bibliography Committee (2025-2026), and Treasurer of the American Boccaccio Association.
