Margaret Scarborough (Magazzino Italian Art), Research Grant for a project on Reading the Self in Postwar Italy.

Margaret Scarborough (BA and MA from the University of Oxford; PhD in Italian Studies from Columbia University) has served as the 2023-24 Postdoc Scholar-In-Residence at Magazzino Italian Art (Cold Spring, NY). The Ragusa Foundation grant supports her book-project on Reading the Self in Postwar Italy, which was in part the subject of her dissertation. In Fall 2022, she was the Bruno Munari Research Fellow at the Center for Italian Modern Art in New York.
