Claudia Romanelli is Associate Professor of Italian at the University of Alabama. Her research centers on Italian cinema and literature. Her works analyze Italian film with special attention to the context of world cinema, focusing on screenplay development, collaborative authorship, and postcolonial studies. She is currently working on a book manuscript on Pier Paolo Pasolini and Federico Fellini.
