Francesco Samarini (PhD Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan, 2016; Indiana University, 2021) is Visiting International Scholar at Dickinson College. Dr. Samarini’s research interests are broad and embrace, roughly, three fields: Renaissance and Baroque, Contemporary literature, and Italian Pop culture, with a strong transnational and transcultural approach. He is the author of many articles on all three areas, and has published two books, Poemi sacri nel Ducato di Milano (Milan: I libri di Emil, 2017) and Philip Roth e l’Italia. Storia di un amore incostante (Ravenna: Longo, 2022).
