Filomena Fantarella (Brown University Ph.D. 2016) is currently a Research Fellow in Italian Studies at Brown, where she has previously served as a Visiting Assistant Professor. Dr. Fantarella’s vast scholarly breadth focuses on the relationship between politics and literature, Fascism and anti-Fascism, intellectual history of the nineteenth and twentieth century, as well as food studies. She has published many articles on these topics, as well as the book Un figlio per nemico. Gli affetti di Gaetano Salvemini alla prova dei fascismi (Rome: Donzelli, 2018).
