Ida Caiazza (Ph.D., U of Pisa and Helsinki University – cotutelle) was awarded, amongst other honors, a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Global Postdoctoral Fellow and is currently an Assistant Professor of Italian Studies at New York University. Dr. Caiazza is a Renaissance scholar with strong interests in Women’s writing, Literature and the History of Emotions, and Love letter collections in the 16th and 17th centuries. The author of many peer-reviewed articles, she has published Narrare per lettera. Racconto ed epistola amorosa nel Rinascimento. Sarnico (Bergamo): Edizioni di Archilet, 2024 as well as co-edited (with José María Pérez Fernández) A Web of Sentiments. Gender and Letter-Writing in the Early Modern Mediterranean, a special issue of Modern Language Quarterly (2026).
